A.J. Stables day camp - Sunday - Nov 2nd 9am - 12pm
Programs have been created for your child to enjoy a bit of the country in the city. Spend a day on the farm experiencing how to care for and ride a horse. Each day you will receive a riding lesson and learn about feeding, grooming, and maintenance associated with horses. Participants will experience brushing, tacking, cleaning, walking etc. All riding lessons are conducted by a MA Licensed Riding Instructor. All programs take place at A. J. Stables at 1040 East Mountain Road.
When dropping off children please drive to the cones on the left side of the barn and wait for a staff member to come to your car . PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY.
*Camp includes a 30-minute riding lesson for the child in a group setting.
Children age: 5-15
Time: 9am -12p
Bring a snack and water bottle
Please also dress for the weather. Please ensure your child has boots and pants. Layers are preferred.

9a-9:15am- Check in, introduction, etc.
9:15-9:45- Safety class& riding lesson
9:45-10:15- Brushing & Tacking
10:15-10:45 - Hay & Watering
10:45-11:15-Walking exercises
11:15-11:45- Barn care
11:45-12 pictures
